Connections between the environnement and aquaculture

Current Research Topics

My research interest focuses on the physiological and behavioural mechanisms involved in the capacities of aquatic species to cope with environmental perturbations, mostly in the context of anthropic disturbances. These mechanisms are metabolically fueled by changes in energy allocation which I dynamically model. This modeling approach enables to predict the life cycle of multiple and diverse species in a changing environment. I use these tools and concepts in an aquaculture context in order to describe the connections between aquaculture systems and their environment or ecosystem and ultimately suggest new practices favoring the sustainability of the productions.
