RESEARCH
Current research topics
My current research focuses on estimating biodiversity at the aquatic-terrestrial interface based on automatic image analysis. This estimation requires a large amount of macroinvertebrate images, which represents a major technical challenge. To overcome this issue, I use image analysis tools and deep learning methods to properly characterize the individuals present on the aquatic-terrestrial interfaces.
