Research

Currently in my thesis (November 2023 - November 2026), I am employed by the Hydreco Guyane design office, based in Kourou, and I work from Rennes on the trophic webs of two major Guyanese rivers: the Approuague and the Maroni.

The aim of my thesis is to use a metabarcoding approach on digestive contents in order to answer various questions, such as the partitioning of trophic niches within complexes of close species, or the exploration of the potential of a detritivorous biosampler for less invasive and costly monitoring.
