My research aims to better understand the factors that shape and constrain the distribution of marine species, as well as to quantify the impacts of multiple anthropogenic pressures on marine ecosystems, including climate change, marine renewable energies, fishing, and the exploitation of marine resources.
To this end, I develop and apply a range of numerical approaches, including statistical methods such as ecological niche models, community models and Close-Kin Mark-Recapture (CKMR), as well as mechanistic approaches such as Dynamic Energy Budget models. I also contribute to the development of indicators, such as ELFI-C, to assess the ecological status of coastal ecosystems within the NOURPIE project.
I am also interested in the development of molecular approaches, particularly epigenetic methods, to estimate the biological and chronological age of ray and fish species. These approaches are combined with physiological markers in order to better quantify their stress status within the AGEPPOP project.
Finally, I contribute to the deployment of environmental DNA sampling methods within the EMOI and Hinsight projects.

I am involved in providing scientific support to public policy, particularly through the definition of standard protocols for the environmental monitoring of offshore wind farms, the expert assessment of monitoring programmes carried out at these sites for the fish compartment, and the evaluation of environmental monitoring programmes related to the extraction of marine aggregates.
