I have expertise in small pelgic fish, especially their early life stages, but it extends to their full life cycle, as well as to their socio-ecological system.
My research use both field data and individual to population mechanistic models to understand environmental and anthropogenic effects on the dynamics of small pelagic fish. The models I use integrate hydrodynamics for transport, biogeochemistry for food availability, bioenergetics for fish growth and reproduction embedded in an individual-based structure.
