Research

Context

Marine Beacon is a 4.5 year project that will address gaps in our current understanding of how fisheries bycatch impacts protected, endangered and threatened species.

The project work with fisheries, policy and conservation stakeholders to develop and test innovative, tools and techniques for better monitoring of these important species and mitigating risks of bycatch, to ensure healthier seas and more sustainable fisheries.
